Who set up Teddy Dance Club?
Richard and Stephen Bean pioneered the development of Teddy Tennis and the subsequent Teddy Sport programmes of which Teddy Dance Club is part.
The Teddy Dance Club lessons, skills techniques and dance moves have been developed by Hannah Bowden, the lead Teddy Dance Club instructor.

Where do Teddy Dance Club lessons take place?
Currently (February 2019) Teddy Dance Club lessons are only available in Witney, West Oxfordshire where we are trialing and testing the system. Teddy Dance Club will be formally launched in the UK in Autumn 2019.

Do you need a studio to deliver Teddy Dance Club lessons?
No, Teddy Dance Club lessons can be taught anywhere that is safe, clean, warm and dry. Dance studios are perfect of course, but we can teach in village halls, gyms, school and nursery play areas, indoors and outdoors.
Do Teddy Dance Club lessons teach children to dance properly?
Absolutely. In fact they could not receive a better start to learning to dance. Every Teddy Dance Club activity has been specifically designed to help a young child develop the key fundamental skills, techniques and moves of dancing. Graduates of the Teddy Dance Club will have developed the highest skill levels, and ones that will set them up to be successful dances for life.
Can a 2 year old child really benefit from Teddy Dance Club lessons?
Yes, the vast majority of children aged 2+ can definitely benefit from taking Teddy Dance Club lessons; the system works brilliantly and what is more, children love it and will want to play more and more.
Can I set up a Teddy Dance Club franchise in my area?

Where can I buy Teddy Dance Club clothing and merchandise?
Teddy Dance Club will be producing a variety of clothing and merchandise but these will not be generally available till the end of 2019.
What is the history of Teddy Dance Club?
Teddy Dance Club is NEW but the concept began in 2002 with the tennis version of the programme, Teddy Tennis.
Teddy Tennis was created to make the process of learning to play tennis to be easy, enjoyable and above all fun for children aged 2 – 5+ years. Teddy Dance Club will do the same.
Throughout the development of Teddy Tennis, music and songs were always seen as an integral part of the teaching method, but a key breakthrough came when pictures of the teddy bear characters were combined with original songs into the learning process. The combination of sight and sound, two key human senses has proved to be a very powerful teaching/learning tool, and one that proved to really work.
Teddy Dance Club is being trialled in Witney, West Oxfordshire in spring/summer 2019 by our lead Instructor Hannah Bowden. The formal launch of the programme will follow in Autumn 2019.
